It was back to Milnathort Town Hall for the first comedy night of 2011 and it was the best yet!. We had a fantastic turn out and all funds raised will be donated to charity PLUS. Back by popular demand was compere Billy Kirkwood, along with 3 comedians from the Glasgow comedy circuit, none of whom dissappointed. It was a great evening with plenty of positive feedback, keep an eye out for the announcement of the next comedy night date.

What an amazing night! Who would have thought Portmoak Hall could have attracted 3 hilarious comedians!! All who attended had a brilliant night and are looking forward to the next comedy night in February 2012 at Milnathort Town hall. Money raised went to PLUS, who are a local mental health charity covering Perth & Kinross.
Comedy Night February 201020th February 2010 at Milnathort Town Hall was the night for the second Ladies Circle Comedy Night. There were 4 acts from the Edinburgh and Glasgow comedy circuit, Bruce Fummey, Stu Who who was hilarious, the very popular John Ross and the big hit from last year, our compere Billy Kirkwood. A really tasty curry was served up from Sandra, our very own Ladies Circle professional caterer. After a raffle and a licenced bar, all proceeds for the night went to the Salix Dementia Trust based in Milnathort and they were really pleased with a huge cheque for £1400, double what we took last year. Thanks to everyone that helped, Ladies Circle members, husbands, lighting and sound technicians, comedians and supporters. We'll be back in October...by popular demand.
History
In March, 2009, we hosted our first comedy night in Milnathort Town Hall. Milnathort Town Hall experienced a night like no other when five comedians from the Edinburgh and Glasgow comedy circuits took to the stage to raise funds for PKAVS. The sell-out event, organised by Kinross Ladies Circle, raised over £1,000 for charity, £500 of which went to the Young Carers Project in Perth & Kinross. Billy Kirkwood was our compere and was absolutely hilarious. Circler Yvonne's husband built us a very nice bar which really added to the ambiance. We had candles on the tables and a great curry provided by then Chairwoman Sandra. The whole event was the brain child of Ladies Circler Claire and it proved to be a great hit with the locals.
